Track Name: Listen To The Beatles
Walking down the dirt-lined streets near the home I came of age in
Where the sidewalk ends and the beeramids and the scary white trash ladies
And the scent of eucalyptus leaves and the fenced-in fields of trash and weeds
And the yards of sand and the dreams I dreamt of cigarettes and magazines

Tallooh, Tallay

I’d walk home from middle school and I’d lay down quite fetal
I would put my headphones on and listen to the Beatles
And eat some stale Doritos and crush on Jared Leto
And try to understand why all the kids were so damn mean-o

Tallooh, Tallay, Tallooh

Caleb - Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Percussion
Jameson Swanagon - Auto Harp
Track Name: Dog Days
Every dog must have its day
Every second she's born again
Hey-yo it may be so
Hey-yo it may be so

Every flower has to fade
Every second she's wasting away
Hey-yo it may be so
Hey-yo it may be so

And the sky fills up with flames
And the drones are circling
Hey-yo it may be so
Hey-yo it may be so

With the terrible buzz of a god
And the murderous thrum of the mob
Hey-yo it may be so
Hey-yo it may be so
Track Name: Run Rabbit Run
Rabbit wrote a manifesto stating reasons why
He could not be bothered to be bothered by the time
And yes I was on his side and I felt the words were mine
So I packed it in and followed him and left it all behind

Run rabbit run - into the boundless blue beyond the sun
Run rabbit run - up to the milky moon

You gotta run
You never know
You gotta move
Just where you’ll go
You gotta hum
A different tune
Before you can make your way back home

I wandered through the Salad Valley, ‘neath the ice cream skies
Waded through the Sugar Bush and the salted lakes of Brine
And the pickled Yellow Pines and the fickle Woods of Twine
And I found myself and I lost myself but I mostly just felt fine

Run rabbit run - into the boundless blue beyond the sun
Run rabbit run - up to the milky moon

You gotta run
You never know
You gotta move
You’re way too slow
You gotta hum
A different tune
Before you can make your way back home where you belong
Track Name: Ramon
"Ram on - give your heart to somebody soon" before you fade away
Oh Ramon - show your cards to somebody who won’t cause you pain

Crawl through that window

You can let your silver spoon lift all the weight off of your shoulders
But don’t forget I loved you do just yesterday

Ramon - I know its hard to be open to let someone in
Oh Ramon - just let it start let somebody through under your skin

Let it out and let it in

You can let your silver spoon lift all the weight off of your shoulders
But don’t forget I loved you do just yesterday

Caleb - Vocals, Guitar, Pian
Track Name: Captain Custard / Mr. Mustard
Captain Custard packed his things and disappeared again
Mustard wished to follow him but he had other plans
Sailing through the Sea of Green and rallying his men
Mustard sits at home and dreams and sings himself to bed

Custard broke poor mustard’s heart by never coming back
Sent a postcard once or twice but that was all he’d had
Had there been a mutiny? Or had he lost command?
Mustard sings himself to sleep and tries to understand
Track Name: She's The Beard (His Sister Pam)
I’ve got a secret I can’t keep
But things are getting way too weird;

She’s the beard!

I’ve got a secret I can’t speak
But things are getting much too queer;

She’s the beard!
Track Name: Jerome (Shaves In The Dark)
You came along and changed the way I said my name
And showed me love was more than just a word to say
You talked me up you talked me in talked me around
But now you can’t be found

Oh Jerome - I don’t know which way to go
Why do I feel so bloody low?
And why is love so hard to find
In eighteen hundred ninety-nine
In nineteen hundred ninety-nine
Way out in twenty ninety-nine?

My sister took me out to gaze upon the Queen
That was the furthest I have been (all of my life!)
I thought that you might help me change my little scene
Now I’ve lost my certainty

Oh Jerome - I don’t know which way to go
Why do I feel so bloody low?
And why is love so hard to find
In eighteen hundred ninety-nine
In nineteen hundred ninety-nine
Way out in twenty ninety-nine?

All of my life I’ve been waiting for the day
That you’d come along and take me away
Was it so wrong to ask you to stay?
And now you’ve gone.
Track Name: Mustard's Blues (Sleeps In The Park)
What began as a simple case of heartache worsened and deepened and festered until it became something else altogether; a slowly hardening darkness that lived beneath his skin and crept ever-closer to his heart. As his condition deteriorated, things began to look different, and soon everything was unrecognizable - life through the looking glass; bitter and ultimately irreversible. Beware my son the Jabberwock, the jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird and shun the frumious bandersnatch!

Occasional glimpses of clarity. He found himself filthy, alone, sleeping in the park in a hole in the road. Such a mean old man, people would say after an encounter with the snarling husk that remained of Ramon Mustard. Even still he clung to a dead dream -- Jerome! -- and in a way the dreaming made it real. Such a dirty old man! Who? Me? I only ever loved, so much that love became a poison and drowned my heart in sorrows.
Track Name: I Can't Tell You (Such A Mean Old Man)
Poor old Captain Custard
Left his love high and dry
Lost his youthful lustre
Wipes a tear from his eye

If all you are is all-in-all
And you’re afraid to take the fall
You’ll find your back against a wall

I can’t tell you how you ought to change
But you can’t stay the same
I can’t tell you how to live your life
Seems a waste of time (the blind leading the blind)
But are you ever going to change?

What of poor old Mustard?
Now a bitter old man
Never did he trust or
Love somebody again

If all you are is all-in-all
And you’re afraid to take the fall
You’ll find your back against a wall

I can’t tell you how you ought to change
But you can’t stay the same
I can’t tell you how to live your life
Seems a waste of time (which isn’t on your side)
But are you ever going to change?
Track Name: Last Words (From A Hole In The Road)
Ever since the day
I first saw your face
I’ve been dreaming you and
I still dream of you
